File NTLDR missing pada Windows XP

What is NTLDR?

1. Boot the computer with the floppy disk Win98 startup.

If installing using NTFS partitions:
1. Boot your computer via Windows XP setup CD.
2. then select the option R = Repair option, by pressing the letter R at the time of setup.
3. Select the Windows installation.
4. we need the administrator password to do this, if this account is not assigned a password, it means we just hit the enter key.
5. type the command below:
COPY X:\i386\NTLDR c: \:
COPY X:\i386\NTDETECT.COM C:\
X = Drive where the CD was
6. Eject the CD-ROM and type exit to restart.

Make PC Router with Windows XP

The term in the configuration:

-LAN in; configuration for the settings of the internal network (LAN) that is used
-LAN out; configuration for IP settings from your ISP (Modem) to the internal network
-ICS (Internet Connection Sharing); the facility in windows XP for a variety of internet connection sharing on a network.

The configuration steps:

-prepare your 1 piece PC that will be the router

-make sure the two LAN Card has been inserted and detected by Windows XP

-for the LAN Card first rename it becomes LAN in and the second change into LAN out (for easy settings IP)

-IP settings on the LAN with IP provided by YOUR ISP (fill in the IP, Subnet Mask, Gateway, DNS, DNS 1st & 2nd)

LAN settings example out:
IP: 172.2.2.2
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 172.2.2.1
1st DNS: xxx. xxx. xxx. xxx
2nd DNS: xxx. xxx. xxx. xxx

Disable Internet Connection Sharing (install if not there), and select options in the Internet Connection Sharing (see sections PropertiesAdvances on setting LAN card)

-for the IP settings, set the IP LAN in order not to be confused with other IP on the internal network, Subnet Mask, clear equate the Gateway, and DNS equate.

examples of LAN settings in:
IP ADDRESS: 192.168.2.1
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: leave blank
1st DNS: xxx. xxx. xxx. xxx
2nd DNS: xxx. xxx. xxx. xxx

-LAN in unnecessary dishare (ICS disabled)

-Now for workstations, IP settings (not to be confused for each IP), Subnet Mask, Gateway IP, input with the LAN in the DNS settings,

example setting Workstation1:
IP: 192.168.2.2
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.2.1
1st DNS: xxx. xxx. xxx. xxx
2nd DNS: xxx. xxx. xxx. xxx
