Everyone knows the specs… but let’s have another go at it… (just to make you drool)
The N96 is the successor to the N95 8GB. It has Quad-band GSM, EDGE, UMTS & HSDPA. It also has DVB-H (Digital Video Broadcast – Handhelds), the EU standard for Digital Broadcast on mobile devices. The N96 has a massive 16GB flash memory, expandable up to 24GB if you can get an 8GB card into the microSD slot. Just like the N95, it has A-GPS (Assisted-Global Position System), a Carl Zeiss 5MP Camera, WLAN (Wifi b/g) & a 2.8” 16.7 million colours screen. In addition to the EDR (Enhanced Data Rate) Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, it also has FM Radio & a 3.5mm jack that transforms into TV-out a SDTV output. The N96 comes with S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 2 with Nokia Maps 2.0 and native flash movie playback (Flash Lite 3). Oh… & it has a kickback stand to help you watch your favourite shows on DVB-H.

There’s only a single downside… the 950mAh battery. & of course the lack of touchscreen…
Nevertheless, there’s actually NO DEVICE on Planet Earth that can beat those specs…
Note: I’m tired out of the iPhone-killer references to every other touchscreen phone… but you must admit, the N96 just beats the iPhone EVERYWHERE.
